Star Ridge stables is proud to offer premium facilities for the best care of your horse, as well as several different boarding packages to suit each individual's needs.

All boarding includes feeding 2x a day, grain and hay, daily turnout (weather permitting) with fly mask (supplied by owner), daily stall maintenance and blanketing. Farm will schedule vet and farrier services with "in house" veterinarian and blacksmith.

Our trainers believe in positive reinforcement. We hope to teach students as much about life as we teach them about horses. We encourage all of our students to set individual goals.

Our students are very successful in and out of the show ring. Both of our instructors, Stella Prescott and Anna Moore, are University graduates. They both competed on their college equestrian teams while obtaining their Bachelor degrees and many of our students have the same goals. Today horseback riding can help get your child a college education. Several universities now have a varsity equestrian teams and give out scholarships. Darragh McCollum, Amber Sims and Elizabeth Hornbrook rode for the University of Georgia. Sarah Bosko and Lisa Chastian competed for Berry College. Teresa Hull showed for College of Charleston. Ashley Swizter wanting to pursue a career in horses, went on to attend the very prestigious Virginia Intermont. Let us help your child reach his or her goal.
